Team Work

We are a small team of dedicated individuals, who really listen when our clients talk. We are involved with new businesses just starting out, providing advice on those first steps, and businesses that may have been trading for some time but feel that they want to step the business up. We are also building up a portfolio of clients who use our services in a sort of financial director role – we visit the client on a regular basis (weekly or monthly) and help to produce meaningful management accounts on which we can comment and give advice. Some of these clients use another firm of accountants to prepare the final statutory accounts and to give specialist tax advice at the year end, but find our hands on approach invaluable during the year.

Sally Reed

qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991. She graduated from the London School of Economics in 1985, and spent some time working in London and Launceston before deciding to study for the Chartered Accountant qualification.

Sally particularly enjoys spending time with clients, learning about their businesses, and getting involved.

Sally has two children, aged 11 and 7, who take up her time outside of the business.

Maggie Martin

also joined Sally Reed Ltd in December 2005. Maggie’s experience has been within business, and we welcome not only her competence with SAGE, and with the vagaries of the payroll system, but also her enthusiasm, and dedication.

Stefanie Williams

has recently joined us from another local firm. Steff is in the middle of her accountancy training, and is proving to be an asset to the firm with her conscientious approach, and maturity

Sharman Tucker

has worked with Sally Reed for several years, and has been an invaluable help, visiting client premises and processing client data. Her own experience of being in business has enabled Sharman to empathise with clients dealing with red tape, and her willingness to help wherever possible has been of great benefit to many clients.

Pat Elvidge

is the final member of the team, providing much needed office support, enabling the rest of us to spend our time on client affairs.
